Hello Friends. I had the best of intentions to share a post each day with samples I’ve made for the Tim Holtz seasonal releases. 3 days in and I’ve come unstuck (maker joke)! π
I was gathering supplies for the LIVE “watch and make” that Tim Holtz is hosting on his facebook page later today and it gave me an idea which fueled my desire to change my plans and make for me, for Halloween and because I love to make.
For the supply list and to learn how to make these beauties during the LIVE later today, go to the Tim Holtz Facebook Page and remember to like the page and turn on notifications so you don’t miss a thing.
I’ve had really positive feedback for sharing more detailed step outs and tips for each project. I’d like to do this more where needed, which of course takes time and is now in direct competition with my wish to celebrate Halloween and make for the current season. I’m sure you can relate that, as makers, we often make “out of season” and miss being in the current one. As this is my favourite season, I want to take a couple of weeks to be “in it” and make for Halloween and put out pumpkins.
I will begin posting my Christmas makes on November 2nd. I hope you can join me then and thank you for your patience.
In the meantime, I gathered the supply list (see pics below) that Tim posted for today’s Halloween Part 2 that is being hosted on the Tim Holtz facebook page, LIVE at 10AM PT (pacific time). I’m so excited to follow and make with Tim, Mario and all the other makers who watch and make LIVE.
Hope to see you there and if you would like to socialise beforehand and share your excitement afterwards, check out the Tim Holtz Addicts group on facebook and bring snacks! π
Have a great weekend and please please take time for yourself and make time to make.
Zoe
I don’t have all the supplies but I will be there with bells on. I look forward to Saturdays and just have to make sure chores are done beforehand. π See you there.
Dear Zoe: βYou do you,β some famous person said that, and seems a fitting quote for a change of plans! π You absolutely know weβll be around when you return! Pick out those pumpkins, decorate the olβ homestead, and enjoy pumpkin spice everything. Happy crafting!
Signed, your crafting pal.
Be here when you post again…not going anywhere…LOL…Where did you get the black baskets/trays…I need those, they look like the perfect size to hold product for the store…enjoy the live, I will be there,
Zoe, when life gives you pumpkins you make Halloween (and maybe some pumpkin pie π ). Enjoy! I’m sure you’ll be sharing pics of your wonderful decorations so don’t stress. I can see how much time you devote to detailing, photographing and writing up your makes to show us. That in itself is a labour of love and we are fortunate that you share your creativity. π
I was there and thoroughly enjoyed see Tim create those two projects although I didn’t craft along but have everything ready for tomorrow! I am already looking forward to your next post. Take care and keep safe and well. Anne xx
What a wonderful pumpkin montage you posted! I skipped the housework today and instead watched Tim. After it was over I realized I have a cafeteria-style tray from my late husband’s small hospital that I kept just for sentimental reasons. Now I’m going to use it for organizing crafting projects. That way I’ll think of him whenever I make — he was always a fan of what I produced. Love your black basket idea, as well. And I’m always inspired by what you make. Thank you for sharing!
Love, love what you do! so inspiring, I do have baskets unfortunately they are not as neat and organised as yours :).
Thank you for taking the time to share, we really appreciate it!
I appreciate the effort you put in to help all of us learn and be inspired by your talent and creativity. Go enjoy Halloween. Have a great time and enjoy the holiday. We will be here waiting for your next post when the time comes. In the meantime, you have supplied plenty for us to try to do. Thank you for sharing.
If Covid has taught us anything it’s to enjoy the here and now. You put a huge amount of effort into what you do already. It’s just as important to remember “you” in all of this. Enjoy the time lovely. Do what you can when you can, don’t freak your freak, we get what we get π We’ll appreciate it all the same. Thanks for everything you do, I’ve loved being part of the Addicts group and the world of Tim & Mario. I can’t believe I didn’t really know about it pre-lockdown. I’m truly excited for the journey ahead and learning more from you all. ENJOY the season lovely xx
Itβs like this…βyou get what you get and you donβt throw a fitβ ππ
Plain and simple and Perfect, just like your perfect blog posts.
